We returned from the Cannes Yachting Festival 2026 with one clear impression: the Sirena 118 truly stood out.
We had been waiting to see it for some time, and finally experiencing it on the water, while welcoming clients, owners and enthusiasts on board during its world premiere, was one of the highlights of this year’s show.
GPY Marine was in Cannes with both brands we represent exclusively in Italy, Sirena Yachts and Tesoro Yachts. They were intense days, filled with visits, meetings and, above all, many opportunities to speak directly with people who truly live yachting and want to understand a boat in detail before making a choice.
And, inevitably, much of the attention focused on the new Sirena 118.
At 36 metres in length, it is now the flagship of the Sirena Yachts range and marks an important step in the shipyard’s evolution towards larger yachts. What impressed us most when seeing it in person, however, is that despite its size, it remains immediately recognisable as a Sirena: generous spaces, natural light, a strong focus on cruising and, above all, a very direct connection with the sea.
Naval architecture is by Germán Frers, while the exterior design was developed by the Sirena Marine design team and the interiors are by Cor D. Rover. The fast-displacement hull was designed to deliver efficiency and comfort even on longer passages, one of the key elements that has always defined the Sirena philosophy for us.
On board, however, it is the spaces that really convey the scale of the project.
The Sirena 118 is arranged over three decks and can accommodate 12 guests in 5+1 cabins. One of the most interesting features is the owner’s suite, which can be configured over two levels, creating a truly private area with a study, lounge and direct access towards the sea. At the stern, fold-down terraces further expand the available space at anchor, while the hydraulic platform becomes the ideal base for tenders and water toys.
It is precisely this ability to create generous spaces without losing contact with the water that, in our view, makes the 118 particularly interesting. It is not simply a larger Sirena: it is a project that brings the shipyard’s philosophy into a completely new dimension.
The success achieved in Cannes is an excellent starting point for this new flagship. For us, it was above all an important opportunity to present it directly to owners and to show in person how Sirena Yachts is evolving while preserving the qualities that have made the brand so distinctive.
The Cannes Yachting Festival was also the perfect opportunity to present the other side of our offering: Tesoro Yachts, with its more dynamic and sporty approach to enjoying the sea. Two different brands, allowing us to offer very different solutions depending on how each owner wants to experience life on the water.
